Stationary Post Card
Is anyone other than me about fed up with the USPS?
The U.S. Postal Service does not even try to be competitive, they just keep raising rates and service just keeps getting worse.
They have their fingers in stationary, stuffed animals, pins, framed items, phone cards.... Like, YES, the next time I need a gift for someone, I'm going to the p.o. Right. NOT. Why don't they try to do really well the one thing they do best: deliver mail.
I know mail delivery is mind boggling in concept, especially world-wide. But the USPS complains always and raises rates. Don't any of the management there have a business degree? Are post offices in other countries trying to sell toys and collectibles?
The whole idea of a collectible is something that is saved. If something is produced JUST TO BE A COLLECTIBLE...how collectible is that? Duh.
They complain they have to raise rates because of internet and email. How come they didn't have to raise rates because of telephone?
O, I am po'd with the p.o.
There are still the holdouts that want to stand in line to mail their packages--the lines are getting longer because they are eliminating people. Today, they announced they may cut down on the number of days they deliver mail. If you need stamps on the weekend, you are out of luck unless you buy them with a credit card from one of the package machines. They removed the stamp machines. What was the reason for that? You are out of luck when you run out of the Forever stamp. Postage is going up! It’s like everything, service is getting worse and price is higher. Everyone used to say they should privatize the Post Office for better service. Since our businesses are in such bad shape, what’s the solution now, I wonder?
Also, the difference between First Class mail and Parcel post is just about $.10. What's up with that? Naturally, you are going to choose the faster service.
