How should I ship unused photography film without damage?
I have about 12 rolls of unused Ilford HP5 Plus ISO 400 film that I wanted to ship to my aunt, but I'm afraid it will get damaged in the mail when I ship it to her. I've tried looking around the web for answers, but a lot of the information was out-of-date. Should I just ask my local Post Office? Write "Photographic Film, DO NOT X-RAY" on my package? Would postal service x-rays or radiation even hurt ISO400 film?
Heck! Should I just wait until she comes down for Christmas and give it to her then? The problem here being she's using most of her film now for a class and I'm not sure she'll still use it after.
